If you don't have a king size bed, but you regularly share your bed with a spouse or partner, then you have probably considered getting a king size mattress in order to have some extra space to spread out. Foam beds are extremely convenient, because you can literally pack them into very small bags, and they can fit in bags of just about any shape and sizes.
Sometimes there are space limitations in the bedroom and a king size one simply will not fit in the space you have. But there are other less obvious yet potentially very serious hazards associated with bunk bed structures that have entrapped children and resulted in suffocation or deaths. If you are using the air mattress bed for yourself as your main mattress, I would much rather start your day in a sitting position coming out of a raised bed of air than trying to haul yourself up off the floor.
A mattress that is to soft does not provide proper support either. This is likely why the older generation has embraced the change from regular beds over the last several years. Of course, the unfortunate byproduct of shopping on the Internet, even though that you can save a lot of money, is that you can't see the air beds in person.
And if you're comfortable on your current bed, then don't fix what's not broken, but for those pregnant women who are experiencing a great many sleepless nights and are avid side or belly-sleepers, a maternity air bed is worth considering. Hopefully these king bed tips will be to find the best bed to match your room and your overall needs.
